Another year, another exciting WBENC Conference on the horizon! The theme of this year’s conference is Discover the Difference, which focuses on the differences the WBENC community makes for women owned businesses, corporate and government members, and all the places that we live and work.
This year’s conference is extra special to CBI since the host location is in our home state of Michigan, Detroit to be exact. Along with that our home region, the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council is the host council for the event. Michelle Richards, Executive Director of the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council had this to say, “Discovery on a sizable scale has the power to effect positive change for the greater good, and perhaps nowhere can we see this happening better than in our great city of Detroit, where business leaders have worked side by side with civic and nonprofit leadership to make a real difference. If you haven’t been to Detroit lately, then you have not been to Detroit! We are the comeback story.” For more information on the WBENC Conference you can visit their website by clicking here.
