Mid-Sized Healthcare Company Case Study
Company Profile
Headquartered in Michigan this healthcare provider has 65 locations covering 11 states from the Midwest to the South.
Business Situation - The Problem
Recently the client had gone through a reorganization in staff within their IT department, it was determined that wireline invoices were not being accounted for properly with the prior staff, nor had they been audited thoroughly since a recent change in vendors 12 months prior. The client was also experiencing service issues with this new vendor. Therefore the decision was made by the client to switch providers.
Technical Situation - The Solution
CBI was contracted to assist in gathering proper inventory of locations, lines and associated charges for voice and data services and assist with optimization and audit of existing services, implementation of new services and managing the disconnect of the old services. This project had an aggressive timeline of 6 months from start to finish to finish.
Results
CBI was able to meet the aggressive timeline requested and provide all the deliverable's requested. In that process we were able to save the client $131,136 annually with $3,500 in credits as well. CBI was also able to assist the client with putting a proper process in place for managing their wireline services moving forward for new services, moves, trouble shooting and validating correct monthly charges.
Conclusion
CBI’s Telecom Expense Management services allowed for this client to take care of a complex change in services with an aggressive timeline along with making recommendations to reduce costs.
