When it comes to considering the use of Telecommunication Expense Management for your business, there are many questions you are asking. Here are the most common questions we are asked, and the answers provided by our experts.
What is the cost?
Each client is looked at on an individual basis. Our fee is typically based on a percentage of the total current charges on the invoices processed each month. Audit and Optimization Services cost is based on a percentage of what we save. GTEM Solutions® software cost is based on total current spend.
How many resources will it take from my team/employees?
This can depend on many variables. During the implementation phase, we will want representation from your telecom, IT and AP departments; if procurement and/or HR integrations are to be included, additional representation from your Procurement and HR areas would be required. These staff resources will provide us the feedback needed to develop our configuration specifications so that the resulting GTEM instance is built to meet your business requirements. Once established, a telecom expense management solution will reduce staff requirements for the scope of processes it encompasses.
How long does the audit take?
On average, an audit can last anywhere from 60-120 days. This is dependent on the complexity of the scope and number of invoices.
How difficult is it to convert to a new software?
It is generally less difficult for a client that is converting from an existing TEM software solution to our GTEM solution, as opposed to a client that does not have any TEM in place. Many of the questions posed during our implementation phase can be answered based on information from the incumbent TEM, such as inventory records, business hierarchy/structure, vendor/account/invoice information, etc.—information that without an existing TEM could take longer to assemble.
Do you have EDI (Electronic Data Interface) to receive bills?
Yes, we have EDI capabilities.
